Al-khattat 35a, in its standard configuration, has a standard paper input capacity of up to 700 sheets through the two completely enclosed, easily accessible paper trays. With the addition of up to two optional 550-sheet paper trays, Al-Khattat 35a can be configured to handle up to 1800 sheets of standard 20 lbs. letter size paper. For users who want to expand the standard 500-sheet output capacity, this can be accomplished by the addition of an optional 500-sheet output tray – bringing total output capacity to 1000 sheets. Combining this feature with the optional duplexing feature can significantly reduce user interventions and allows the printer to realize its potential as an entry-level document handling station.
